Wreck Fishing Trips & Weather Conditions

February 23rd, 2010 by Mick

SeafordIt is our responsibility to you, to make sure that the weather is suitable to venture out to sea.  The Skipper will always check the weather and will always use a variety of marine forecasts and his local knowledge of the waters.  The daily forecasts which we all listen to on the TV or Radio will not be taking into consideration the speed of wind over water, which can be much stronger than it is over land.  The skipper will pay careful attention to the forecast when deciding to take out a crew.  This is so that the conditions are suitable for angling and also for your comfort and safety. Annual Maintenance – Day 4

February 11th, 2010 by Mick

Grey VikingWell we missed the snow that was forecast for last night so there was no excuse not to set off for the boat yard for another few hours of pain.  We had sat last night and made a list of the jobs we wanted to get done today but once on site the list went straight out the window and we got on with jobs that could be done with frozen fingertips.  Gee it was cold today!
