Ash Scattering at Sea

When someone special passes away many people of varying faiths or ex-mariners wish to have their ashes scattered at sea.

We appreciate that you will need to arrange a respectful service that makes it personal to your loved one's wishes. We will do all we can to help with your individual needs and ensure a dignified occasion.

Please note that our ash scatterings depart at 4.30pm and it's likely that we can accommodate the date you require even if our online calendar shows us as fully booked (which refers to our full day bookings).

An ash scattering ceremony would normally last for about an hour during which time the Skipper will set a course for a suitable location off the Brighton coast for the scattering ceremony to be conducted and a minutes silence will be observed. A certificate showing the time and latitute/longtidue position where the ashes were scattered will be prepared and signed by the Skipper for you.
