Here are the answers to the questions most frequently asked about our sea fishing trips on Grey Viking out of Brighton Marina:
What does it cost to book the whole boat for fishing?
I'm just one person or haven't got enough people to book the whole boat?
What dates are available?
To see when the whole boat is available for a group booking or when spaces are available on “Individuals Days” please look at our availability calendar which is updated daily. Our calendar also shows what we are planning to fish for on the date in question.
How do I book or can I make a booking please?
How far in advance do I need to book?
Bookings are strictly on a first come first served basis. If you see a date on our availability calendar and want to book it you should do it now, even if the date is weeks or months ahead. This avoids the disappointment of somebody else booking it first.
Can I book multiple dates against one deposit?
No problem! Some of our regular customers do just that. Simply pay one deposit and book as many trips as you like against it. Then pay for the trip on the day leaving your original deposit intact for the next one.
Where is the boat located, what time do we need to be there and what do we need to bring?
We provide answers to all these questions on our booking information page.
I am/we are complete beginners?
No problem! If your are new to boat fishing or fishing in general we will provide free tuition and advice on the day. All trips are suitable for beginners with the exception of the “Premium Day’s” shown on our availability calendar which are for experienced anglers only.
Do I need to have my own fishing rod and tackle?
Not at all! Simply turn up on the day and hire ours for a modest charge if you need to.
Do your prices include rods and bait?
No they do not. If you haven’t got your own equipment you can hire ours on the day. You will also need bait or lures which you can buy from the tackle shop in the marina. They open at 7.00am, giving you time to get your bait before we depart. We will let you know exactly what you need to get.
I am/we are experienced anglers and don't want to share the boat with beginners?
No problem! The “Premium Days” shown on our availability calendar are for experienced anglers only. Plus there are less people on board (7 or 8 anglers depending on the type of trip) with a longer 9 or 10 hour trip duration (again depending on the type of trip). The cost is therefore slightly higher at £80 per person. Alternatively book the whole boat instead and you won’t be sharing with anybody anyway.
The date we require is fully booked on your calendar, is there anything you can do for us?
If you are a group looking to book the whole boat we can probably offer you an afternoon trip departing at 4.30pm for one to four hours.
Are there any age limits?
There is a minimum age of 14 for full day 8 hour trips and a minimum age of 7 for half day 4 hour trips.
