Latest News and Catches - May 2012

Grey Viking is winning Charter Boat of the 2012 Brighton Pollack Competiton with a fish of 16lb 12oz to Robin (Fishy Rob) Howard. The May Rot is clearing on the wrecks so Cod and Pollack catches should get back to normal this month. In the meantime the reef fishing down at Kingmere started a month early this year and continues to be excellent. We've had several specimen Bream over 4lb already with good catches most days and some decent Bass and Smoothounds too. The Plaice fishing is still good further inshore, so plenty to go for.

We offer a wide range of boat trips and short mini cruises along the beautiful Sussex coastline. Our boat, Grey Viking II, is conveniently located in Brighton Marina and is licensed to carry parties of up to 12 passengers comfortably for a great day out at sea.

If our online calendar shows us as fully booked for the day you want it's likely that we can still offer you an afternoon trip departing at 4.30pm.

2012 Prices for Boat Trips and Cruises

These are our 2011 prices for boat trips and mini-cruises. On the longer trips there is the option to try a bit of fishing as well if you want to:

A deposit of £150 is required to secure the booking. The balance is payable in cash on the day.

Please be aware that all boat trips are weather dependent. If the Skipper decides on the day that it's too rough to go out to sea the trip will continue within the shelter of Brighton Marina (at a reduced cost) so as not to ruin the day with a cancelled trip.
