Deep Sea – Wreck Fishing Trips
Our deep sea wreck fishing trips are the first choice of many anglers. Brighton is well established as one of the premier wrecking venues in the UK, with over 200 wrecks in the deeper waters off the Sussex coast.
Early in the year we fish for Pollack and January to April is the best time to target the bigger specimens. Cod fishing starts in the spring and continues into autumn. We fish for both species drifting over the wrecks with lures.
From mid summer we also fish the wrecks at anchor using bait for Cod, Ling and Conger Eels. Come and enjoy a day fishing with one of Brighton’s top wrecking Skippers aboard Grey Viking II.
Turbot and Brill Fishing Trips
The Turbot and Brill fishing from Brighton has been for superb the last few years with some great catches to be had in the summer and autumn. We fish for Turbot and Brill many miles offshore on various banks thats hold these highly prized fish.
Reef and Ground Fishing Trips
Our reef and ground fishing trips are a more relaxing alternative to deep sea wrecking because we are fishing closer inshore in shallower water.
From the spring to autumn we mainly fish for Bream, Plaice, Dab, Ray’s, Smoothhound and Bass. Mackerel are usually plentiful during this period too.
April to June is the peak of the Black Bream fishing season on the famous Kingmere Rocks which is a huge reef to the west of Brighton.
Winter Ground Fishing for Cod
Winter is an exciting time when the Cod move inshore and are caught within a few miles of the Marina and this is the time of year to try and catch a big one!
