These are our 2025 prices for sea fishing trips aboard Grey Viking II departing from Brighton Marina with Brighton Charter Fishing.
From 2020 to 2025 marine diesel has doubled in price. Overheads such as mooring fees have increased dramatically too. However, we’ve decided to absorb these increased costs for the 5th year in a row. We might have to ask a modest fuel surcharge on occasion for longer distances out to sea, but only if agreed in advance.
Prices per Person and Whole Boat Bookings
For sea fishing trips you can book spaces on a per person basis. For groups booking the boat to themselves the boat charter rate applies. We also offer shorter 3 and 4 hour trips on selected days and/or times of the year. Please look at our calendar to check availability. Prices are as follows:

| *Turbot and Brill Fishing In our experience there should be a maximum of 8 persons onboard for Turbot and Brill fishing to minimise tangles in deep water and have all lines going away from the boat, not underneath it. Equipment – Rod and Reel Hire Rod and reel hire is £10 per person for a full day 8 hours and FREE for 3 or 4 hour trips. However, for specialist trips such as wreck fishing you should usually have your own equipment unless agreed otherwise. Beginners and Tuition Our reef ground fishing trips are suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers, with full tuition provided. Wreck and Turbot fishing is for experienced anglers only, but with plenty of tips and advice provided. Bait We will reserve the appropriate bait/lures/rigs for you to purchase from the marina tackle shop on the day, prior to departure. | |||
Deposits Required
- A deposit of £250 is required for groups booking the whole boat.
- For bookings on a per person basis you are buying tickets per person.
- The balance due (if any) must be paid in cash on the day.

Cancellations and Terms of Booking
- You MUST call us after 5.00pm and before 7.00pm the day before before your trip to check the sea state is ok for us to go: 07850 171722
- If we have to cancel the trip due to rough seas you can choose another date or a refund.
- If you need to cancel your booking you must give at least 4 weeks notice.
- If you need to change the date of your booking you must give at least 2 weeks notice.
- Insufficient notice will result in the forfeit of your deposit/payment.
- If you cancel with less than 2 weeks notice the balance of your total booking price is due.
