Today we were out wreck fishing and looking to catch some nice Cod. The day was not a disappointment and despite a really slow morning the fishing really picked up in the afternoon and we saw some really nice fish landed.
Most of the Cod caught were hitting the 9 – 11lb mark and the anglers we delighted with them. Amongst the Cod we also caught a few Pollack although they seem to be in smaller numbers on the wrecks at the moment.

Poor Bob who was out fishing with us again lost a fight with a hook but bravely fished on after a little TLC and was rewarded with this beauty.

All the Cod caught came in on rhubarb and custard sidewinders or blue shads.
