Individuals day and its another cold one. Target again today is winter Cod fishing on the ground.
Headed South 3.5 miles of Brighton Marina but with 20mph North East going East wind against tide until the ebb it was clear that the mark we have been fishing was not going to be a comfortable day for anyone so we headed East to an inshore mark tucked in under the cliffs.
Once the ebb got going the fish started biting and the day ended with some nice cod 8/9lb being the average with a 14lb cod going to Mick making it her 2nd PB in just two days.
A couple more hit the deck at around 8lb and it was time to return home cold tired but over the moon. Lovely day and great fishing.
