I’ve redesigned our company website, again! This is the third version of the site, which was originally launched in 2009 and last revamped in 2012. So it’s design number three in six years, phew! Then again six years is practically a lifetime given how fast the web evolves and the previous version of the site site was starting to look a little “dated” as a consequence! So it’s a whole new look for Grey Viking and Brighton Charter Fishing and I hope you like it?

Aims of the Redesign
- With the growing use of mobile phones and tablets to view the web and search for stuff I wanted to ensure our new design was “mobile friendly” or “mobile responsive” as they say in the trade. Put simply, it’s easier to read on mobile devices now!
- Give a more modern look and feel to the design.
- To take a step back and look at site usability, logical navigation and making things easier to find and understand for our visitors. This is important given the large amount of content on the site.
- On this last point of site usability, it is an ongoing project so there will tweaks and changes to come as I “play around” with things.
The entire project was designed and implemented by me with no outside help so I really hope you like it?
Feedback (good and bad) would be gratefully received if you fancy leaving a comment below?
Congrats on the redesign. Works well on my mobile. Look forward to seeing more pics from fishing trips this year!
